Nashville CROP Walk

Apr 6 2008 - 1:45pm

First Lutheran will again participate in the annual CROP Walk to fight hunger in our community.

The Greater Nashville area joins thousands of communities around the country in a 5K fundraising walk to fight hunger and poverty. Local agencies benefiting from the event include MANNA, Nashville’s Table/Second Harvest Food Bank, and Luke 14:12.

Funds supporting national and international emergency relief, like Gulf Coast recovery, earthquake victims in Pakistan, or refugees in Africa, will go through the cooperative ministry programs of Church World Service.

Church World Service has nifty tools that let you raise funds online from friends and family in far-off places.
