OUR FIRST LUTHERAN FAMILY would like to thank a special non-member, Mrs. Gay Spain. Gay has contributed her time and talents to help maintain an important piece of our Chapel communion services. The original cloth had been a part of our services for many, many years and had completely worn through in places; however the crocheted cross emblem was in good shape. Gay has one of the only old hemstitching machines in the entire state (the original cloth was hemstitched) and was able to reproduce the original look. We were also able to apply the original cross to the new cloth. Gay graciously donated her services for this task, and I am listing below her address so that if anyone cares to send a "thank you" to her personally, you have it.
