Young Adult Breakfast and Fellowship Sep. 11

Bring a breakfast dish to share and come for fellowship. Singles, Couples, and Married with young children are invited. Coffee, Milk and juice will be provided. Hope to see you in the Dining Room at 9:30 am Saturday, Sep. 11.

Habitat Build Coming in September

Your opportunity to use that hammer of yours to help build a home for Habitat is coming in the next few weeks. Several dates are available to help build the house: Sunday, September 19, Saturday, September 25 and Sunday, September 26. More information and Sign-up sheets are available at the Outreach Table Display in the Educational Building. You may also contact Susie Overton, 833-5669 or Sandra Hill, 972-4046.
Bob Evans will serve BREAKFAST on September 12 at First Lutheran Church from 8:30-10 am in the Dining Hall. Donations will go to help pay for the Habitat build.

Confirmation Class Begins September 26

Confirmation Class Students will begin their study at 9:30 am Sunday, September 26. The plan is to meet every second and forth Sunday for Class. Classes are offered for students 12 years old and older. Parents promise at a child's baptism to bring the child up in the Christian faith, teaching the Creed, the Lord's Prayer, the Ten Commandments. If you would like more information on the class contact the church office.

Some of our members are in bad shape and need our help.

Lord knows our communities need all of our help. And prayers. Lord knows everybody needs prayers.

Small Group Ministry

Last fall a group of ten people began meeting regularly to learn how to start a small group ministry at our church. We read about why these groups are beneficial, studied the experiences of others, and discussed how to bring the best of what we learned to our own church. In the process we also were able to experience a small group for ourselves. We have developed a mission statement to help keep our groups focused on building relationships and doing the Lord’s work. Then we put together a variety of new groups that we hope will inspire you to join us.
